Template notice. This document is a starting point, not legal advice. Every bracketed placeholder must be completed and the whole document reviewed by a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction before you take payments.
These terms govern your use of Guidevio and any product you purchase from us.
The agreement
By using this site or buying a product you agree to these terms. Guidevio is a trading name of Om Prakash Kumar, a sole proprietor based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India.
What you are buying
Products sold here are digital publications delivered as downloadable files. No physical goods are shipped.
Purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the material for your own work, including work you do for your employer or clients.
What the licence does not allow
Reselling, redistributing, sharing or publishing the files or substantial extracts from them.
Repackaging the content into another product, course or service.
Removing attribution, or presenting the material as your own work.
No warranty of security outcomes
Our security guides describe common vulnerability classes and recommended practices. They are educational material.
They do not constitute a security audit or a penetration test, and using them does not guarantee that any application is secure. Responsibility for the security of your systems remains with you.
Acceptable use
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, disrupt it, or use it to break the law.
Payment
Prices are shown at checkout in the stated currency. Payment is processed by our payment provider; we do not store card details.
Prices are shown in the currency stated at checkout and are the total amount we will charge you. We are not currently registered for VAT or sales tax outside India, and no VAT or sales tax is added to, or included in, the price.
Your card issuer or bank may apply its own currency conversion or cross-border fees. Those are outside our control and are not part of the price we charge.
Refunds
Refunds are governed by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Limitation of liability
The guides are reference material, not professional advice. Applying them is your decision and you remain responsible for testing anything you put into production.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost data.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not remove any right you may have to bring proceedings in your own country of residence where consumer law gives you that right.
